Sucker Days in Nixa, stream snorkel Bull Creek.... nature at its best! Plan to attend our new "Springfield Cardinals" professional baseball team at Hammons Park in Springfield.
July - August ~
More Baseball and .. Rodeo's and Bull Riding events...summer fun, star-gazing from the hot tub while the whip-per-wills call .
September - October ~
Fall colors, Ozark Craft Festival, "wonderful bargains"!
November - December ~
Old fashioned decorations, Christmas parades and "Christmas Lights of the Ozarks" will make you ooh and aah.
All Year -
Hootenannies--real old time entertainment in the neighborhood on Saturday and Monday nights.

The hummingbirds returned on April 13th this year. They return to the same place year after year, so now we expect lots to be swarming around our feeders. (I have to make fresh sugar water everyday.) Bull Creek is at it's best in June, so plan to explore the creek while here. I will give you directions to a little one-room school house that is definitely off the beaten path! Our new wildflower patch (1 acre +) is really beautiful this spring and promises to get better each year. A place for appreciating nature with all her finery showing.
